Who We Are
Termo-Mediena is a Lithuanian manufacturer of thermally modified wood products, operating from Vilnius, Lithuania. We supply terrace boards, facade cladding, and batten profiles to builders, architects, and distributors across Europe.
This Privacy Policy applies to personal data collected through our website and any associated contact or enquiry forms. The data controller responsible for your data is Termo-Mediena. If you have questions about how we handle your data, you can contact us at info@termo-mediena.lt.
What Data We Collect
When you submit an enquiry through our contact or product quote forms, we collect the information you provide: your name, email address, company name (if given), delivery location, estimated volume, and the content of your message.
We may also collect non-personal technical data automatically when you visit our website, including your IP address, browser type, pages visited, time of visit, and referring URL. This data is collected through analytics tools and is used in aggregated, anonymised form.
We do not collect payment information, nor do we collect special category data such as health, political, or biometric data.
How We Use Your Data
We use the personal data you provide solely to respond to your enquiry, prepare a quotation, or fulfil a request for documentation. We will not use your contact details to send unsolicited marketing communications without your explicit consent.
Aggregated, anonymised website analytics data is used to understand how visitors use our site and to improve its content and performance. This data cannot be used to identify individual visitors.
Our legal basis for processing your data when you submit a contact form is legitimate interest — specifically, responding to a business enquiry you have initiated. Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time by contacting us.
Data Storage and Security
Enquiry data submitted through our forms is stored within the European Economic Area. We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data from unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.
We retain contact and enquiry data for up to 24 months from the date of your last interaction with us, after which it is securely deleted unless we are required by law to retain it longer.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to third parties. We may share data with trusted service providers who act as data processors on our behalf (for example, email delivery or CRM software), subject to appropriate data processing agreements.
Your Rights
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, request correction of inaccurate data, request erasure of your data, restrict or object to our processing, and request a portable copy of your data.
To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at info@termo-mediena.lt. We will respond within 30 days. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority — in Lithuania, this is the State Data Protection Inspectorate (vdai.lrv.lt).
Cookies
Our website uses cookies to support analytics and basic functionality. For full details of the cookies we use, how they work, and how to manage your preferences, please see our Cookie Policy.
